My name is Joseph Richerson.  I live in Meriwether county, between Luthersville and Greenville, GA, on 2 acres of land, in a rural area, 20 miles south of Newnan, GA, off I85 South.  I have had Dachshunds as pets since I was a child.  My 1st Dachshund was a Standard Smooth Haired Red Male, named Fritz, and he was a very loving companion.  I have had 2 Fritz's to follow over the years, having lost one due to back issues, as I am sure many who love the breed are familiar with, and may have experienced.

I started becoming more serious about the hobby of breeding Miniature Dachshunds in 2005.  I made a lot of effort to learn more and more about the breed, and invested a lot of time in selecting my original dogs that I bought from 3 different breeders.  From these original dogs, I bred selectively to create the majority of my current dogs.

Some of my dogs are English Creams and Chocolates, and the majority of the others carry for English Cream and/or Chocolate in their bloodlines.  Also, some of my dogs have Brindle or Dapple (Merle) Patterns.
